Not just a dollar...

I am inspired today to talk about the one dollar bill, why you ask? Well, I was listening to the radio on my way home from work and their was a radio commercial about the one dollar bill complaining about how it doesn't get enough credit and that you can buy a double cheeseburger and how that makes the one dollar bill valuable. I thought it was interesting and true, especially since a couple of weeks ago I was able to buy breakfast and lunch for $2.22. So I figure for $3 (not including tax) you can buy breakfast, lunch and dinner. Because now most fast food restaurants offer value menus, you can buy can, box or frozen food for less than the mighty buck. So there is some food for thought. ;)

SPAM - Its whats for Dinner!

I am just amazed the fact that people decided to turn to SPAM because of the rising cost of food. Usually eating or talking about spam - it gets easily mocked by society. But not anymore, since the rising cost of food and fuel, spam has had an increase of sales of at least 14%!

I have always loved Spam. So the increase in sales of it just made my day and amused me. I love spam because it brings back memories of my dad making it on a toasted sandwich with mustard. So one year they had you can earn a shirt with proof of purchase for their 70th anniversary, so I bought a few and then got my free shirt.

To celebrate, I had decided to buy more Spam and take a picture (as you can see).
