News: Octomom Seeks Trademark

Octomom Seeks Trademark APRIL 15--The California woman who gave birth in January to eight babies has filed an application to trademark the word "Octomom," which she wants to slap on disposable diapers and assorted clothing items. (click on link to read rest of story)

You know, when Nadya story first came out about having all those children, I didn't pay much attention to it. But, as the story is is evolving I am just getting more and more intrigued with Octomom.

Having an Entrepreneurial mind, I thought it was very calculating and interesting how Nadya trademarked "Octomom" as much as she hates that name. I also like the fact that she is trying to secure a TV Deal and start her own line children's clothing and diapers. She is going to write her own book as well. She also mentioned in a recent article that she is making such good money right now that she does not need to go back to work. And I agree! Have you seen all the interviews she has done? As a Business person, I give her props. Even though she chose a poor way to do it. (Have 14 kids)

It's like a train wreck and she continues to entertain me. I am truly interested in whatever she has to produce.

Concert: Britney Spears in SLC, Utah!

YES! I went to Britney Spears as an early birthday present. It was fun! But in order to go, I had to dress up. So I wore my daughters blond Hannah Montana wig, pink boa and pink/black bustier. I love to dress up for different things like special events or my birthday. The Pussy Cat Dolls opened for Britney Spears. She was really good and still a great performer. This is the first concert I have been in a long time. My very first concert was with Rod Stewart, my second Concert was Cher. This will be my third concert in my Life. I would like to go to Madonna if she would tour in the USA. I LOVE BRITNEY SPEARS!!!

Restaurant Review: Cracker Barrel

This Saturday we ate at Cracker Barrrel. I have been there a few times. They have southern style food, which you really don't find at a lot of restaurants.

Anyway we got Country Fried Steak, Fried Okra and Macaroni and Cheese. Plus Sweet Tea and Biscuits with butter and jam.

Now, first of all I am not a huge fan or chicken or country fried steak. But I do enjoy theirs. Plus there is always enough to share. I absolutely love their tea that day we went. It was so good! I kept getting more and more. The food is also really inexpensive and when I got fried okra instead of turnup greens, the sides were really cheap to get so it still didn't cost a lot. I really love their mac and cheese too.

I also love that they have an old country store with old country items. They had seemed to be promoting a new Dolly Parton CD, which I thought was cute. It was relaxing to go there for lunch. I highly recommend it. :)

Comeback: Eminem

Official Eminem Website Well, it looks like Eminem made a comeback with the new video "Made With You" . I am not really sure how I feel about it, maybe the same as partner, that his new song is mediocre compared to his past work as an music artist. Although I still feel that this is just his comeback song so that he will get the attention he has missed this past few years. I personally glad to have him back. I think he is very talented and I am sure his work will get better as his return does.

News: Police: Man fires at Utah McDonald's drive-thru after learning only breakfast available

Story SALT LAKE CITY - Police said a customer fired one or two shots into a Salt Lake City McDonald's after the driver of the car he was in was told the restaurant was not serving lunch yet. Police said the female driver of a white Dodge Intrepid pulled up to the drive-thru and ordered from the lunch menu early Sunday but was told only breakfast was available. Police said two men then got out of the car and one pulled a sawed-off shotgun from the trunk, shooting into the drive-thru window once or twice, The Salt Lake Tribune reported Monday. No one was injured. The car then left the scene.

Ok, first with this story, I am glad no one was hurt. Two, I wanted to post about this story yesterday but was worried because I was a little amused but at the same time take violence against human and animals VERY SERIOUSLY, especially this day and age. But today I figured its okay, it was in a way funny and I wanted to stick to my Hamburger theme. So, if I offend anyone, I do apologize ahead of time.

Well, first of all its funny...because I think the MAJORITY of the time people complain about them ending breakfast too soon. At least I DO. I happen to live in SLC, Utah and breakfast ends at 10:30 am during the weekdays and I think on the weekends at 11 am. I LOVE my McDonald's Chicken Biscuit and will do whatever I can to get it 2-3 times a week! LOL! : D
