We like to try new recipe and this one was delicious! I Love spicy and my partner found it. Its made with chicken, bell pepper, jalapeños, chili powder, onion, tomato, hot sauce and it wasn't that spicy at all for those that do not like hot stuff! I made my own special tortillas to go with it and it was just delacio (as my daughter would say) :D
Anyway here is the recipe:
INGREDIENTS (Nutrition)
* 2 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - cut into bite-size pieces
* 1 tablespoon chili powder, divided
* salt and pepper to taste
* 1 tablespoon olive oil
* 1 cup chopped green bell pepper
* 1/2 cup chopped onion
* 2 jalapeno peppers, seeded and minced
* 1 large tomato, cut into chunks
* 10 drops hot pepper sauce

DIRECTIONS
1. Season chicken with 1/2 tablespoon chili powder, salt and pepper. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium high heat and saute seasoned chicken for 3 to 4 minutes, or until no longer pink. Remove from skillet with a slotted spoon and keep warm.
2. In same skillet, stir fry bell pepper and onion until soft. Add jalapeno peppers, tomatoes, remaining 1/2 tablespoon chili powder and hot pepper sauce. Cook, stirring, for an additional 3 to 5 minutes; add chicken and stir fry for 2 minutes more.

Food Review - Chilis Smokehouse Bacon Burger
I had an Opportunity to try the new Chilis Smokehouse Bacon Burger for Free, because I am a BzzAgent and I buzz on new Products, Services and Foods to get the word out and see the opinions of others on those items. As a food lover, I jumped on it! Chilis right now has three new style Smokehouse Bacon Burgers - Jalapeno, Southern and Three Cheese. I love spicy anything, so I tried the Jalapeno.
It was DELICIOUS! The only thing I request is that they HOLD THE LETTUCE! I am not a huge fan of lettuce ESPECIALLY Shredded Lettuce. The sandwich had "Extra thick-cut applewood smoked bacon topped with smoked cheddar cheese, crunchy tortilla strips, jalapeños, mayo, shredded lettuce, tomato and onion. Served with jalapeño-ranch dressing on the side.". I had removed most of the lettuce but I just could not finish the thing, it was so big. But it had a BIG taste to it. I am all about flavor. :D
Then for dessert we split the Chocolate Molten Cake. I love it. It is basically three layer chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream. I try to get it often when we go to Chilis. It is warm and gooey and the ice cream is cold and creamy. Makes a perfect combination. :D
5 STARS!

JALAPENO JELLY!

I love this stuff. For months I had wanted to get a jar of jalapeño jelly online, but then I moved to the Billing Dept at work and it turns out my advisor's sister made it! So I was excited and bought my very first jar - Blackberry. We had finished the whole jar through the holidays and were anxious to buy another one. So I then had purchased 'Sweet Mother of Onion", then we were hooked! So we decided to practically buy a case of every flavor that there was! :)
We eat it with Crescent rolls, biscuits and sausage balls. We are going to try it with other types of food too. :)
I am such a foodie! If you want to try it Click HERE
